Nike SB: 'Classic Green' Dunk Low
Boston Celtics-esque white, black and green palette plus a familiar colorblocking scheme that originated on the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe,” this low-cut SB Dunk toes the line between skate and hoops. It also serves as an apt follow-up to the similarly styled SB Dunk Low “Court Purple,” and calls back memories of the Air Jordan 1 “Celtics” from 2009’s AJ 1 “DMP” pack.
From a design standpoint, the “Classic Green” uses green shades on its heel, laces and tongue badge. The rest of the shoe is done up in white and black, with the former appearing on the toeboxes and quarters while the latter is used on mudguards, tongues, eyestays, Swooshes, collars and tonally-branded heel tabs. A Zoom Air cushioning unit is embedded in the insole’s heel, and white midsoles work with green outsoles to round off the look.
